The Sauder Business Club of Vancouver successfully kicked off the 2012 – 2013 season with its first event of the year – Sauder Mardis Gras in Vancouver. An estimated 90 alumni attended the New Orleans inspired event held at Vancouver Fan Club on Thursday, September 29th, 2012. Alumni arrived early and stayed late as they enjoyed live jazz music, drink specials and delicious appetizers while connecting with their fellow Sauder alumni, reconnecting with old friends and expanding their professional networks.The response to the event was overwhelming positive. When asked to describe the night, amazing, awesome and great were just some of the words used over and over again by the attendees. Their only complaint: they networked so much that by the end of the night they had completely run out of business cards – not a bad problem to have!
