Social Responsibility Inaugural Dinner Salon

An enthusiastic group of alumni and friends recently gathered at the SBCV Social Responsiblity team's first dinner salon to share their experiences traveling and thoughts on voluntourism while dining on delicious Lebanese cuisine at Nuba downtown. The evening began with a discussion on each person's favorite country and from there, conversation flowed to different travelling experiences as well discussion on a couple of the inspiring articles and videos that were provided beforehand. The dinner featured several appetizers with hummus and baba ganoush, followed by Nuba's scrumptious cauliflower and assortment of other popular mezzas and your choice of skewer. Everyone enjoyed the food and the conversation lasted past dinner. The VP Social Responsibility, Leslie Ng, capped the evening off with a thank you and invitation for suggestions on future dinner topics!
